ACEC's importance provides Consultants additional strength in their promotional strategies:
It raises awareness among companies and institutions so that they can place their trust in consulting firms, thus strengthening the value of the associated members through the mass media.
It prepares the annual Report including figures and trends on the consulting market in Catalonia (ACEC), as well as nationwide (AEC Report), this being the only information available on this sector.
It promotes member consultants in the business field by organizing conferences given by external speakers of recognized prestige, on "strategies for future success".
It promotes member consultants to the Public Administration field through presentations and meetings with senior executives of different entities.
It promotes member consultants through its website offering a link of associated members, thus reinforcing their image and facilitating direct contact with website visitors, who are potential customers.
It promotes member consultants through the institutional leaflet and annual reports on consulting.
It enables participation of member 'consultants' representatives in Work Committees, which act as an extension of the Board of Directors: Institutional Relations Committees, Marketing, Public Sector, HR and Strategic Consulting.
Periodically, it sends member consultants interesting business information from different entities, such as the Generalitat de Catalunya, Foment del Treball, the Chamber of Commerce or the Economics Circle.
Organizes internal meetings for associated members, which serve as a base for possible professional collaboration and debate of topics of common interest.
Enables associates to connect with large associations outside Catalonia: the AEC (Spanish Association of Consulting Firms) and the FEACO (Fédération Européenne des Associations de Conseil en Organisation).
Promotes the Association by defending associate's' interests before the Public Administration while seeking out synergies with other professional associations.
